Task Force App

Task Force App

Project Overview

Managing work schedules and communication efficiently is crucial for any company, yet many businesses lack a streamlined digital solution for their employees. This workforce management app is designed to bridge that gap by offering a simple and accessible platform for employees to check their schedules, view payslips, clock in remotely, and stay updated with company announcements.

The app is built with a user-friendly interface tailored for both general employees and senior workers who may not be tech-savvy. It features intuitive icon-based navigation, bold colour contrasts for better visibility, and a straightforward layout that prioritizes accessibility. By addressing the communication gap between management and employees, the app enhances efficiency, reduces scheduling conflicts, and ensures seamless workforce operations.

Problem Statement

Employees faced challenges in accessing essential work-related information due to the absence of a centralized platform. They had no efficient way to check their schedules, view payslips, or clock in remotely. Additionally, last-minute schedule changes often led to confusion, as there was no direct communication channel between management and workers.

Senior employees, who are less familiar with digital tools, found existing solutions complex and difficult to navigate, further complicating the workflow. This lack of accessibility and real-time communication resulted in inefficiencies, miscommunication, and frustration among employees.

Solution Statement

The workforce management app simplifies schedule management and enhances communication between employees and management. It features:

  • Intuitive Navigation – Icon-based navigation for easy access to core functions.
  • Bold Visual Hierarchy – Use of contrasting colors to improve readability.
  • Essential Features – Schedule access, shift swaps, payslip viewing, remote clock-ins, and announcements.
  • Accessibility for All Employees – A user-friendly experience catering to both tech-savvy and non-tech-savvy users.
